Cafe Ihringer in Breisach am Rhein

It is a very great café that has been in the family business for many generations. It is also one of the few cafés in Breisach with a view of the Breisach Minster.

Delicious cakes and pies. Unfortunately, it took a good 20 minutes until we were finally able to pay after request, the same at the neighboring tables although there was not much going on, which could have justified that.

Insufficient security in corona times! Many cafe visitors came without masks and were not advised by the cafe staff about the missing mask and completely served normally. I know this from other cafes in such a way that the visitors are made aware of this and in the case of inconsiderate visitors they are expelled from the cafe to protect the other guests who adhere to the rules. Those who value their safety or who belong to the risk group should not visit this cafe during these times. Although the cake was extremely tasty as always.

Even one star too many. Have ordered a strawberry cake for our son's second birthday. Embarrassing in front of our guests. Was a normal strawberry cake with no decoration for a birthday. Scantily sprayed with cream on top of it before picking up one. Well ordered two days before collection, but insured on the phone is no problem. Unfortunately, it tasted the way it looked. Luckily I had baked one myself, otherwise guests would have run out of empty ones. Never again.

Delicious cake, but not a good service. Long waited for a waitress. When we went in, they all sat together near the kitchen counter and talked. Also have to wait a long time until the tables were cleared. Until we could pay it took again - why would always have to come a waitress, we have not seen so far.

Lunch doesn't start until 11:30h so I had a wonderful Apple pie with my coffee.

Could eat here every day and end up 400 lbs but very happy.

Nice cafe, with a large selection of cakes and pastries. The card also offers small meals and a wide range of drinks. Service very friendly. The prices (piece of cake € 4.50) are a bit spanned. For the ambience is appealing and after the completion of the "place" it is certainly very nice in the outdoor area.

Excellent pastries, tarts and cakes. Try Irish Coffee or a huge bowl of the Latte - you will not be disappointed.

They have a huge variety of cakes. There is something for everyone. Cute little cafe.

Very bad service. 30minutes to take the order. When the icecream arrived 20min later it was partially melted!! The waiter and waitresses were not smiling at all and we clearly understood that they were not happy to be there. Also they didn't even understand a little english or french, todays this is a shame. The icecream tasted good but would have tasted much better with a smile and not melted. Never again!

This is a classic patisserie with a good selection of cakes, pastries and some cooking. It is a good place to stop on the walk. It has a wide and spacious room for a public, mostly older. That is why you can be calm. He is usually very busy. The staff is friendly. The well-kept space in the details, even the services.
